November 11, my tumblr (lipsitck.tumblr.com) got terminated without warning (I have 120K followers on that blog) and I was really pissed & devastated about what just happened. Well, it's my fault anyways, luckily TUMBLR RESTORED my blog after almost a week of waiting waiting and stressing !!

- LOG IN into your tumblr account that was terminated.
- Once you've log in to your account , you should be redirected to a page that says "YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN TERMINATED, rush in and click " CONTACT SUPPORT". https://www.tumblr.com/support.
- Email support right away, ask them why your account has been terminated, be nice and don't be such a rude bitch coz they might ignore your email. You can include too that you have never received a warning from them before the blog was terminated. Make sure you select the category "TERMINATED BLOG" or they won't resolve your issue.
- You will receive a confirmation email like this, and make sure you reply on that mail saying THANKYOU and explain yourself.
- You will receive a response maybe after a few hours or few days, It took like 2 days before I got a response from my first email. The first mail you will get is about the reason of the blog termination. In my case, my blog was terminated because of spam / affiliate marketing. ( I email them back saying that I will never be spamming someones dashboards etc. and the marketing they're talking about was the accidental posts I have queued.)
- Make sure to email them back once they responded, and include lines like "I THINK YOU TERMINATED MY BLOG BY MISTAKE/ACCIDENT" or "I NEVER GOT A WARNING MAIL"
- Then, THE BEST PART happened! They restored my blog November 17!! Yeey! They emailed me saying not to post stuff that should not be on tumblr. <3
- If ever Staff will give you a chance on restoring your blog, then happy blogging and simply FOLLOW ALL THE POLICIES (https://www.tumblr.com/policy/en/community) and you won't have problem !

DeleteMy account, one that I had for almost ten years was mysteriously terminated on Friday. No explanation, no warning, nothing. I've always been on the straight and narrow in terms of following their ToS rules and guidelines. I'm not sure if my termination was accidental or if someone reported me (it's not clear what they would report me for considering I don't [intentionally] break any rules).
ReplyDeleteFYI, for anyone emailing and getting no response, I would suggest emailing them from a different email address. Rumour has it is they don't respond to emails that aren't attached to a Tumblr account but when I emailed them from the account attached to my terminated account, I got no response at all, not even the generic 'We've received your request' one. I emailed them from a different address, and they responded with that generic email, despite me not having an account attached to that email, so I'm hoping they email me back and resolve this and restore my account. It's incredibly frustrating.
Also, will they take longer to respond if you email them over the weekend?
